๐Ÿ›‘ Fleeing Woman Denies Driving Blames Husband Instead for DUI

Tampa, Florida โ€” On September 13, 2025, just before 2:30 a.m., Tampa Police received a report of a vehicle driving the wrong way in the eastbound lanes of I-4. Officers quickly located a silver Toyota Camry traveling westbound in the inside eastbound lane at approximately 60 MPH. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver, later identified as 24-year-old Kristian Beall, refused to pull over and continued to flee, narrowly missing a collision with a marked police car. Realizing the immediate danger to the public, Tampa Police Officers and Florida Highway Patrol Troopers worked together to stop the car. An FHP Trooper attempted a tactical maneuver to stop Beall’s vehicle, but it continued to flee. Recognizing that the driver’s actions showed a complete disregard for the safety of others, Tampa Police then performed a successful Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver to safely stop the vehicle. The Camry was then boxed in by both Tampa Police and FHP vehicles. After failing a field sobriety test, Beall was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI). Her breath alcohol content (BrAC) was measured at .199 and .202, both more than double the legal limit of 0.08. Beall was charged with Driving Under the Influence (BAC over 0.15); Aggravated Fleeing to Elude; and Fleeing to Elude at High Speed. She was transported to Orient Road Jail.
